Hello,

a bit about me:

My name is Konnor Miles, and I am a rising senior studing Organisms, Ecology, and Biodiversity while minoring in Leadership Studies.

I have been involved in a plethora of stuff, but I well known now for my involvement in Hampton University's Pre-Veterinary and Western Equestrian clubs. I also have taken on creating websites for both and blogging.

In the past I have participated in Army ROTC, the University Choir, L.E.A.D, and in my free time creating websites and coding or computer programming in HTML, JavaScript, and Python. In high school most of my time was spent learning how to code, sports, and volunteering at our local animal shelter.

My obsession with animal science has since sparked my goal in becoming a veterinarian, working with large animals both, focusing on a project to rehabilitate the big cats back into their natural habitat.

This site is to give you a personal look into my life and all that I have chosen or will choose to participate with regards to animal welfare through volunteering, interning, and working to promote self-awareness of our array of animals we've been blessed to share the world with.

My inspiration has stemmed from my core family including Connie and Iola Mcbroom, Lisa McBroom, Kendal McBroom, and Kaleb Currie.

What I've Been Up To:

  • Writing entries to upload to HUPVC's website

  • Volunteering at HU's Equestrian Center

  • Training at Petco

  • Connecting with DVM's at Vet Schools

  • Learning the anatomy of livestock
